Language and Culture

Language and Culture come together in the process of learning a new language. Speaking Spanish from Spain and speaking Spanish from Peru is not the same. Each country uses different words and slangs to express and idea. also we have to take into account its culture when learing another countries lenguage.
In some Spanish countries, people use "tú" others "usted" and a few others "vos". We as teacher have to teach our students the different expressions so they can use them at the right time. For nstance, it would be disrespecful to call our boss "tu" and our firends "usted".
Languages can be simple or complex. Sometimes we speak differently depending on what kind of person we are talking to. Talking with your friends is not the same as talking with your boss. We need to say the right word at the right time.

Intelligent Educational Environments

We become better proffesionals by practicing, and in time, we will get more experience.
I agree that reading is important, but for some people it is not helpful especially when it is about getting some information for exams. Theory is fine when we have to solve some problems and for having some ideas what to do and how to deal with it. But we, as teachers, will become better by practicing.
The best way for our students to learn a language is by practicing, debating and solving problems. we must try to ensure that our students focus int heir classes. This means that the lessons have to be entertainning.
Another fact is that the students work better when they do not feel stress, but for some students stress means, exams, quizzes and oral tests.
Some education institutions have decided not to test students with grades. However, how can we, as teachers, meansure if our students are doing well or not? Doing projects in groups or even alone, we are not sure if they did it by themselves. there are sudents with differnts value systems, for some education is thir last priority.

What i think is that teachers have to check if our students are learning. W e have to use most of the techniques that we have learned and apply them. Also, for evaluating our students we can use projects, debatings, solving problems, quizzees and exams to be 100% sure that they are learning.
